The new satellite TV show is titled ‘Shake It Up!’ The show will introduce CeCe Jones and Rocky Blue. The two teenage girls are best of friends and have become backup dancers on the well known teen dance program ‘Shake It Up, Chicago.’ The show will combine dance with three-camera comedy. The story will revolve around the girls as they learn the ropes, battle against rivals, and deal with their brand new fame.
The amazing new show is a production of It’s A Laugh Productions. It is the company that has produced all current, live-action comedies on Disney and DisneyXD.
‘Shake It Up!’ is created by writer Chris Thompson. Chris’s credits include ‘Bosom Buddies,’ ‘Laverne & Shirley’ and ‘The Naked Truth.’ Rob Lotterstein, the producer of comedies like ‘Suddenly Susan’ and ‘The War at Home’ will be co-producing the show with Thompson. Rosero McCoy will choreograph the dance numbers for the satellite TV show. He has choreographed the upcoming ‘Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam.’

DISH Network, America’s fastest growing pay TV provider, along with The Weather Channel has recently announced that they have reached a multi-year agreement for continued distribution of The Weather Channel on the programming platform of DISHNetwork.
Both the companies will be collaborating with each other with a mission to develop state-of-the-art, full-time weather forecasting services. These services are especially designed to cater to the needs of the Satellite TV consumers. This includes localized weather programming on DISH HD Channel 213 (in addition to The Weather Channel’s main feed on Ch. 214). This is followed by interactive TV applications, new mobile and Internet services. By summer this services will be put on execution.
According to Senior Vice President of Programming for DISH Network, Dave Shull, “Through this new partnership with The Weather Channel, DISH Network is giving our subscribers exactly what they’ve asked for and more. Not only are we developing a unique satellite service that provides localized weather 24/7, but also we’ll soon deliver personalized weather reports via the Android mobile platform and the web. This agreement recognizes the importance of cross-platform video delivery, ensuring that our subscribers will have the most detailed local weather information available at their fingertips anytime, anywhere.”
CEO and President of The Weather Channel, Mike Kelly said, “DISH Network and their customers are extremely important to us, and maintaining and expanding our partnership is a high priority for our company. DISH Network will now be carrying two of our channels – The Weather Channel and a customized 24-hour, all-local weather information network – to provide even better service to their customers. We also look forward to working with DISH Network on other cross-platform and interactive initiatives, taking advantage of our leadership position in mobile and the Internet.”
